Dr. Shari Nadler
PsyD, LCP

Dr. Nadler is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Florida. Dr. Nadler specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of psychological conditions affecting adults, children and adolescents. Dr. Nadler earned her Masters degree in Education and Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical and School Psychology at Pace University in Manhattan. She trained at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City during her internship and externship focusing on child and adult inpatient and outpatient services, rehabilitation and day treatment in a hospital-based school. Her postdoctoral training was in several settings including private practice, a community outreach clinic, and school testing and consultation in New York and New Jersey. Additionally she trained as a school psychologist and consultant in the New York Metropolitan area. Dr. Nadler provides a thorough evaluation involving psychological and medical history combined with life experience.

The basis of Dr. Nadler's treatment involves a close therapeutic relationship, helping patients to be open in discussing, understanding, coping and resolving different aspects of dissatisfaction. Her practice approach is engaging and collaborative. She has a very personal and individualized approach to helping people find more happiness and fulfillment in their lives regardless of their conditions. Dr. Nadler helps patients through unfortunate circumstances such as loss of health, marital conflict, grief/loss, work, school and social integration problems, as well as other major life transitions. Her psychotherapy treatment program is successful where others fail due to her emphasis on clients taking personal responsibility to make the changes to help themselves find more happiness and live more vital, meaningful lives. She guides them to find solutions for change, but emphasizes that change is a gradual process in which they must push themselves to take a small step every day.

Dr. Nadler is an active member of the Florida Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. She regularly attends continuing education and works closely with other practitioners to remain informed about the most current developments and research in professional practice.
