Single Parenting

No matter why you are a single parent… death, divorce or abandonment… Families By Design fully realizes the sacrifices one makes to care for a child on their own.

However, we believe that while single parenting is not a choice many people would intentionally make, it can have its benefits. Many times single parents discover they are capable of doing things they ever thought possible and that they have skills they didn’trealize they had. Single parenting is obviously challenging… the finances… the workload…the stress… but by focusing on the positives, it can truly be a rewarding experience for both you and your child.
